Enough to do concept but IMHO I don't think it's good enough for interior design, even though that's what they're targeting. It doesn't do exteriors, and it's range of windows, doors, furniture and materials is fairly limited. If I were still on Windows 7 I'd still be using for my current project.įor my current project I'm now using HomeByMe. Only supports a flat block of land, and can't do split levels or anything like that. Has a satisfactory furniture and materials library. The software is not really supported any more, and doesn't work in windows 8. ![]() I then settled on MyVirtualHome, which was clunky but satisfactory, especially because you could walk around the house in first-person perspective, just like a computer game. Everything had to be extruded from a shape, and you ended up working with surfaces. ![]() I had a serious go at using Google SketchUp, but found it extremely difficult to move a wall once it was drawn. I'm not a professional, just wanted to play with ideas and show my architect. About 3 or 4 years ago I searched around for software to do this. ![]()
